The correct way to observe the chickens: do not disturb the chickens when entering the chicken cage, you will see that all chickens are evenly dispersed throughout the chicken cage, some chickens are eating, some are drinking, some are playing, some are Some are sleeping, some are “speaking”.
Such flocks are healthy and normal flocks, otherwise, we need to find the reason immediately: feed? drinking water? ventilation? illumination? temperature? humidity? Stress? immunity?
Feed management
focus point:
1. Sufficient material level and even distribution;
2. Check whether the driving and feeding line can operate normally;
3. The thickness of the material is uniform and uniform; the material tray cannot be tilted to ensure that the material line is kept straight, and the line of the feeding system must be fixed to avoid leakage and series of electricity;
4. Adjust the height of the feeding tray: ensure that the feeding tray is installed in place, and the height of the chicken back during the breeding period is consistent with the height of the upper edge of the feeding tray grille;
5. The material cannot be cut off. After each feeding, check whether the end of the material level device is in place, whether the material level device is blocked and there is an empty plate phenomenon, and whether the material level device has bulging materials, etc.;
6. After each feeding Check it once to ensure that each chicken cage has feed, and put away the feed at both ends of the trough or distribute it to the chickens to prevent mildew and deterioration over time.
7. Let the chickens clean the feed in the feed trough or feed tray once a day. 8. Observe whether the feed is moldy and other deterioration after feeding, and report to the farm manager in time if any abnormality is found.
Feed quality: The farm manager or the general manager should pay special attention to the appearance of each feed, such as color, particles, dry humidity, odor, etc. If there is any abnormality, it will not be accepted and reported.
Notice: When the flock is unhealthy, the first is that the feed intake will decrease, so it is necessary to accurately record the feed intake, and pay special attention to the daily increase and decrease of feed intake!
Drinking water management
focus point:
1. Water should not be cut off during normal feeding to ensure that chickens can drink clean water at all times;
2. Flushing: A. Backflush the water pipe at least once every two days; B. It must be flushed when drinking vaccines and drugs interact with each other; C. Single flush and ensure the smoothness of the sewer pipe;
3. Pay attention to check whether the water line pipe, pressure regulator, nipple, water level pipe, etc. are abnormal, and eliminate the gas, water leakage, blockage, etc. immediately;
4. Check whether there is water and flow on the nipple at the end every 4 hours;
5.14, 28 days, remove the pressure regulator and connecting pipe, clean and sterilize, and then install and use;
6. When flushing the water lines, each column should be flushed separately, and all the water lines that are not flushed should be turned off to increase the water pressure of the flushing water lines to ensure the flushing effect. Observe that the water at the tail end is clean and then rinse for 5 minutes.
Light management
Key Points:
Chicks should have enough light to stimulate feeding.
Precautions:
1. The light in the chicken cage is uniform.
2. The light limit is only started when the weight of the chicken reaches more than 180 grams.
3. Reduce the dark period before slaughtering.
4. If you encounter stress or other situations that need to increase feeding, you can extend the lighting to stimulate feeding.
5. Please do not be in the black light period during the coldest time of the day.
6. Excessive light will cause chicken pecking addiction and sudden death with belly up.
